Glastonbury 2013 by Levi

Glastonbury is one of the largest music festivals in the world.  It is on a large farm in England and there were over 200,000 people in attendance.  I got to see the Rolling Stones last night and it was the best concert ever!  There were many fun activities for kids like trampolines (without liability waivers), giants slides, street performers and circuses!  The hot dogs are foot-long sausages and they put french fries (chips), cheese and baked beans on them.  It rained hard on Thursday and got very muddy.  Luckily we all brought rubber shoes (Wellies).  The next two days were perfect!  We camped all three nights in the Wicket Grounds family camping.  Kids get in for free!

Our tent on a rainy Thursday...it did not leak!!!

Bouncing on trampolines

We slid down this giant slide on door mats.

We played a giant game of twister with 686 dots!

The Rolling Stones rocked!

The pyramid stage.  Look at all the tents on the far hillside.

More Stones!

Waiting for the train to Bristol after a big night!

  1. Nice post Levi. The Stones are called the world's greatest rock and roll band for a reason!
