In India we went to a Bishnoi village and got to make pottery. It is a village way out in the desert. They do not have an electric pottery wheel. What they use is a big stone wheel that has a hole on the bottom that spins on a big pointy stick. He puts a stick in a hole on the top and spins it until it goes really, really fast. Then he smacks down a big chunk of clay and it starts spinning really fast.
I made an oil lamp!
Then Levi got up to make a cup. He told him how to shape it and he made a design with his fingernail.
Mac made a flower pot.
