Wiley's Egypt Blog By Wiley

The Sphinx and the Great Pyramid in Giza

We are in front of the pyramids on camels.  My camel's name was Mickey Mouse.

The stones of the Great Pyramid are taller than me and weigh thousands of pounds.

These are stairs leading down to a tomb.

This is a painting of a vulture.  These paintings are in the tombs of the famous Egyptian Kings.  We went to the Valley of the Kings and went down into tombs King Tut's and Ramses II.

This is the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor.  She was a Queen of Egypt that dressed up like a man to show that she could rule.

We played manhunt among all the columns in the Temple of Karnak.

This is me and Mac driving a Felucca sailboat on the Nile River.
