More Zermatt and Grindelwald Switzerland

We loved Zermatt and even stayed an extra day which meant we got to partake in the street party and fireworks display for the Swiss National Holiday.  Afterwards we moved on to Grindelwald, another beautiful swiss town in the Jungfrau area, right at the foot of the Eiger.  We enjoyed camping at the Gletscherdorf campground near the river with a beautiful view of the mountain right out of our tent window....we stayed an extra day there too!

On our hike from Gorner Grat we came across a herd of black faced sheep these two lambs had literally just been born

  1. Katherine got locked in a bathroom in Grindelwald a few years back. No one was around and she thought she would be spending the rest of her life there until a cleaning person heard her calls for help.
